Ace Hotel New Orleans
New Orleans a dynamic city with an incredible blend of cultures, identities, and history. For its home in the vibrant town, Ace Hotels worked with interior design firm Roman & Williams to renovate a former Art Deco building in the up-and-coming Warehouse District. Uhuru Design worked with R&W to design and develop pieces inspired by vintage furniture and a southern gothic aesthetic that's woven throughout the neighborhood. For this project, Uhuru produced nearly 3000 items ranging from furniture elements, millwork, accessories, and the bathroom vanity for the 234-room boutique hotel.
