Uhuru Design, a Brooklyn-based furniture company dedicated to sustainability, is pleased to announce the launch of three innovative new designs in anticipation of New York Design Week (May 8-19). Stitched Table, Standard Chair, and Metal-Stoolen, limited-production pieces crafted using sustainable processes in local shops, are notable for their daring and playful avant-garde character. Though every bit as functional as the products that Uhuru has developed in the past, these pieces edge into the conceptual realm in their use of color and their unexpected combination of materials.
