Gallery Installation, Fall 2014
The Waterfall Mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is a recently-renovated 19th-century carriage house that has been transformed into a LEED-certified art gallery celebrating a variety of artists, artisans, and designers. The Mansion – which features a three-story waterfall within the house – is one of the only residences in the world over 10,000 sf to achieve LEED Silver certification. To complement her sustainable ethos and desire to create a space that sits at the nexus of art, design, and lifestyle, Mansion creator and renowned gallerist Kate Shin approached UHURU about outfitting the mansion with pieces for her fall 2014 event schedule.
This project features our Gardesgard Lounge Chair along with additional custom furniture.
