In 2015, the media giant Vice Media doubled its presence in New York by moving into a new 60,000 square foot headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Uhuru partnered with Vice Media’s architects to provide its creative visionaries with a vibrant and diverse workspace by creating a comprehensive interiors package that reflected the company’s bespoke and eclectic nature. Uhuru Design concepted their brand specific interiors, designed, and manufactured over 90% of the furniture. This is where the first seeds of the Minim Workplace collection were planted.
