The Puzzle Bar Stool is made from short lengths of salvaged wood that are carefully pieced together, sanded, and hand-finished to a smooth shine. The patchwork surface is built into a 1” steel frame.
Local workshops in Brooklyn produce scraps of fine hardwood that end up discarded because they are seemingly too small to use in furniture production. Seeing a design opportunity where others see waste, Uhuru is committed to collecting these scraps and inventing new ways of using them.
