New Orleans is a dynamic city with an incredible blend of cultures, identities, and history. For its home in the vibrant town, Ace Hotels worked with interior design firm Roman & Williams to renovate a former Art Deco building in the up-and-coming Warehouse District. Uhuru Design worked with R&W to design and develop pieces inspired by vintage furniture and a southern gothic aesthetic that's woven throughout the neighborhood. Uhuru produced nearly 3,000 pieces, ranging from furniture elements, millwork, accessories, bathroom vanities, and more for the 234-room boutique hotel.
