Lam reimagines the workplace as a connected architectural system, bringing desks, storage, screens, seating, and integrated power into one cohesive landscape. An honoree in this the HiP Awards, Lam draws inspiration from mass timber and glulam construction, using its central beam as both structure and design language—spanning farther than conventional metal power beams to reduce leg supports, open up the space below, and create a lighter, more flexible footprint.

The Hono Café Table extends the story of our Hono Stool, drawing on the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban. By charring pine through fire, the wood develops a rich,tactile surface that is both striking and resilient.

Uhuru’s collaboration with Ashley Longshore brings her vibrant Gemstone artwork to the Tack Stool and Bolt Tables, transforming functional furniture into bold, art-forward statement pieces. Produced in partnership with PoliLam, whose custom laminate expertise helped translate the artwork onto durable surfaces, the collection celebrates color, craft, and the expressive potential of everyday design.

We’re back at Fulton Market for Design Days 2026—and couldn’t be more excited. Uhuru is proud to be a member of The New American Design Collective: a force of American studios shaping the future of design through material innovation, craftsmanship, technology, and story.

For this investment firm headquarters, we took a co-design approach to blend rich natural walnut, sculptural tambour textures, and soft curved forms, creating bespoke, hospitality-driven workspace solutions that are both refined and inviting.

Designed in collaboration with Float Studio, the Bolt Series embodies a shared passion for industrial design and architectural beauty. With a range of top shapes, heights, and materials, these tables effortlessly adapt to both personal and communal spaces. Celebrated for its design excellence, Bolt has earned recognition as a finalist in the NYCxDesign Awards and a winner of The Architect's Newspaper Best of Product Awards.

We embarked on a journey to design custom furnishings inspired by the interior designer's specific vision.

This project was recently named a winner of the 2024 Calibre Awards.

VAULT isinspired by the city’s historical “vault lights,” circular glass bulbs embedded in sidewalks, remnants of NYC’s industrial era where these skylight-like elements illuminated basement factories.

ESSX explores bold and expansive shapes, echoing the majestic beauty of the natural world, harmonizing with the linear datum lines of architecture. The 5 piece capsule comprises of tables and benches, including a site specific, hyper custom ESSX graphic table made for the NYC concept store.
