Hog Island Oyster Bar

co-working • san francisco, ca
Hog Island Oyster Co. is an institution among the California culinary scene and a pioneer of sustainable shellfish farming. They approached Uhuru to design pieces for their restaurant and bar in the historical SF Ferry Building. This project included a customized version of Uhuru's Frame 1x1 Barstool, tables, and other fixed elements. To highlight both brands' sustainable ethos, Uhuru Design chose to use original Coney Island Boardwalk reclaimed materials to craft the barstools.
