Nike's S23NYC Studio
workplace • New York, NY
Nike’s new S23NYC Studio is a lab-like facility located in NYC’s South Street Seaport overlooking the East River. This office houses Nike’s creative & technical team that supports their SNKRS App, a digital hub dedicated to engaging and responding with their loyal followers. Uhuru outfitted the entire office with Minim Rise sit-to-stand workstations and a custom Boardwalk Super Table, whose surface pattern is a nod to maple basketball court flooring. The custom Super Table is based on the Minim Conference Table collection.Other elements of the S23NYC Studio—reclaimed hardwood from Washington State, a painted floor pattern mimicking Jordan’s free-throw dunk stride, one-of-a-kind local artwork, and overall storytelling with product—cultivate a design synergy that resonates with Uhuru Design.

Uhuru worked with Fogarty Finger, a NYC-based architecture & interior design firm to create a physical presence that parallels the bold energy of Nike’s digital product.
