Uhuru Design worked closely with The Furniture Practice and the design teams at Nóbrega Borghmans Architects and D+DS Architecture Office to craft a workspace that redefines the corporate office through a hospitality-driven lens. This investment firm headquarters balances warmth and refinement, integrating rich natural walnut, sculptural tambour textures, and soft curved forms to create a space that feels both elevated and inviting. Every detail was considered to ensure a seamless aesthetic—layered materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and a design language that shifts the traditional workplace into a more tactile, human-centered environment.
Beyond aesthetics, functionality was paramount. Uhuru engineered custom furniture solutions that integrated concealed power and technology, ensuring a clean, uncluttered look without sacrificing convenience. From executive suites with bespoke height-adjustable desks to conference tables and open workstations designed for seamless collaboration, every piece was crafted with the same commitment to detail and material integrity. The result is a sophisticated, hospitality-infused office that challenges expectations of corporate design, offering an experience that is as refined as it is functional.

A suite of four custom Milo Conference Tables anchors the meeting spaces, combining sculptural presence with modern functionality. Designed with sleek, integrated power and data at both the tabletop and through the floor core, these tables offer a refined, tactile sophistication with their matte-finish surfaces.
Each is paired with custom credenzas wrapped in the matching tambour textures (hand made in our studio) seen throughout the space, elevated by a minimal toe kick for a floating appearance that enhances the overall modern aesthetic.
The design continuity extends to the Tack Console, chosen to echo the angular geometry of the Milo tables, reinforcing a cohesive and intentional design language.
The open workspace features Uhuru’s Minim Rise Bench system and Minim Storage, offering sit-stand flexibility while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Felt dividers add a layer of privacy and sound absorption, supporting focused work while contributing to the overall material warmth of the office.
The CEO suite features a bespoke shrouded height-adjustable desk, thoughtfully engineered to balance innovation with a refined, tailored aesthetic. The desk surface is clad in sustainable leather, complete with a leather wrapped pop-up electrical trough for a workspace that is as seamless as it is sophisticated.
Partner offices also incorporate custom height-adjustable desks, integrated with wall-mounted storage and a Band Table return to accommodate collaboration. Traceless laminate surfaces ensure a pristine, smudge-free appearance, while discreet power integration and meticulous wire concealment preserve the clean, architectural lines.
The co-design process was a highly iterative and collaborative exchange between Uhuru, the dealer, and design teams, refining every detail to ensure both beauty and effortless functionality in the workspace.
A custom-designed assistant hub, structured in a curved configuration, offers a hospitality-inspired take on the traditional reception area. Accommodating seven height-adjustable desks, the station is wrapped in a continuous hand-milled walnut tambour facade, finished with a refined black metal trim punctuated by sleek countersunk screws. Integrated power solutions prioritize user convenience while maintaining the seamless, clutter-free look.
This project exemplifies Uhuru's dedication to co-design and creating bespoke furniture solutions that seamlessly blend luxury, functionality, and hospitality, setting a new standard for corporate interiors.
