collaboration story
The Bolt Table Series is the result of a dynamic partnership between Uhuru Design and Float Studio, merging expertise in furniture and interiors with a shared passion for industrial design. Float, a multidisciplinary studio specializing in interiors and spaces, often encountered the raw beauty of industrial building structures—such as I-beams—during demolition and design work across New York City. This became the cornerstone of inspiration for the collection.
Uhuru, known for their innovative furniture and workplace designs, joined forces with Float to reimagine these structural elements into a versatile and striking table series. The result is a collection that balances architectural strength with refined design, offering adaptable pieces that act as both visual and social anchors in any environment.
